Red Dragon America - Enter the Dragon!
Who are we? - A nonprofit organization devoted to Welsh-America. We call ourselves the Dragonites!
What's Welsh-America? - A term used to describe the Welsh-American community, including the people themselves but also the legacy and culture, both of which helped shape the United States.
What does this involve? - Hosting events centered on Wales, Welsh-America, other Celtic communities and anything that might involve Welsh culture. Promoting awareness of this legacy through celebration and education. Connecting with Modern Wales to establish a bond that will keep both nations firmly in each other's embrace.
Who can join? - Anyone! Welsh Ancestry is not a prerequisite nor a requirement to become a Dragonite! There is more to Welsh-America than just the ancestral heritage whether it's the ideals of liberty and equality that our Welsh forefathers brought with them or revivals of religions like Druidism, the Welsh Spirit can be recognized in nearly all facets of society.
Why a Red Dragon? - The Red Dragon is the traditional symbol of the Welsh people, going back for more than 1,500 years. It is featured on the modern flag of Wales and is synonymous with all things Welsh.
