Causes We Support

Red Dragon America is all about Welsh Culture and Interests but we take that a step further by championing Welsh causes dear to our own heart. First and foremost is the issue of Independence: 

• Red Dragon America fully supports the movement for Welsh Independence from the United Kingdom. 

• RDA is a proud supporter of YesCymru, the grassroots campaign for Welsh Independence, and its wonderfully unique nonpartisan approach to the cause. Unity towards Independence is their ideal and this is a powerful cure for the gravest obstacle in the history of the Welsh Independence struggle, Disunity.

• We believe in this cause and we also believe that Welsh-Americans can play a very important role in the walk towards Independence. As Americans, we are removed from the feelings of nostalgia and attachment that many people in Wales have for the UK.
